WHAT IS COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an internationally recognized psychotherapeutic approach grounded in the modern science of learning. The basic assumption of CBT is that problematic cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns have been learned from experience and may be unlearned and replaced with healthier patterns. Based on that, we jointly develop solutions for problematic situations and patterns in your life through the therapeutic process.
WHAT ARE EXTRAORDINARY PERSONALITIES?
In the categorization of mental health issues, there is a set of disorders concerned with a person's personality. The very things that make you you are deemed unhealthy. I have a slightly different take on this issue. Extraordinary personalities allow people to lead extraordinary lives filled with rich experiences and creativity. The precondition for this is a high degree of self-awareness. I specialize in helping people with extraordinary personalities and personality accentuations achieve this state of mental clarity and self-control.

I can help you cope with life crises, major challenges, and interpersonal conflicts as well as further your personal development by providing you with psychotherapeutic counseling.
HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE?
I work in a focused, effective and solution-oriented manner. Depending on your issue, you may see significant improvements in your mental health after just a few sessions. A regular session with me lasts 50 minutes, with 5 minutes being used for scheduling and payment processing. In certain cases it may also be appropriate to schedule longer sessions.
IS THERAPY CONFIDENTIAL?
Psychotherapy is subject to the strictest confidentiality regulations known to Austrian law. Without your explicit consent, I am not even allowed to say that you are in therapy with me. I only have to report in case you pose an imminent threat to yourself or others.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
The fastest way to make an appointment is to schedule online via Latido. For this purpose, you will need to create a Latido-account and provide your email address and mobile phone number. You may also call or email me to make an appointment. If I do not pick up, I will call you back as soon as possible.
CAN I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
You will not be charged for appointments canceled at least 48 hours before the start of the session. Please understand that appointments that are not canceled in time must be paid in full.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THERAPY?
I charge 100 euros for each 50-minute individual therapy session. For counseling, I'm obliged to charge an additional 20% in revenue tax. For couples therapy, I charge 150 euros per 50-minute session. For group therapy, I charge 50 euros per participant and session. Sliding scale fees may be agreed upon on a case by case basis.
WHAT DO I DO IN CASE OF A MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY?
I do not treat emergencies in my practice. In case of a mental health emergency (imminent danger to yourself or others), please immediately call the Austrian medical emergency services at the telephone number 144 or dial the common emergency telephone number 112.
